About Me

Blake Benecke is a singer/songwriter from Monto Queensland (Australia). Growing up in small town Central Queensland has provided Blake with plentiful inspiration to create a mixture of raw folk, blues, and country sounds. Blake's inspiration comes from his equal love for the land and the ocean, and continues to find stories through his own wanderings through life. Blake hopes to connect to listeners through emotion and a perspective that people can relate to.

Since his earlier releases, Blake has continued to create songs about topics such as hardships, travel, and love. The new EP "HEADIN' NORTH" consists of 4 brand new tracks. Recorded in the Byron Bay hinterland with artist and producer Will Hearn. Blake Believes that Will has helped him find the sound that's been in his head: a natural fusion between coastal folk and indie country.
